Landscape & Irrigation Estimator / Salesperson

Position Summary
ELT Landscape is a locally owned and family-focused landscape company
seeking a hands-on Estimator/Salesperson to help us grow and maintain
strong client relationships. We are looking for someone with experience in
the landscape and irrigation industry who takes pride in their work, values
teamwork, and enjoys being part of a company that treats every project like
it’s our own property.

This position involves preparing accurate estimates, meeting with clients,
sourcing materials, and coordinating with our field crews to ensure projects
run smoothly from start to finish. The ideal candidate will be self-motivated,
organized, and confident working directly with both residential and
commercial customers in a fast-paced, small-business environment.

Key Responsibilities

Estimating & Proposals
Meet with clients on-site to assess project requirements and goals.
Prepare detailed take-offs, cost estimates, and written proposals for
landscape and irrigation projects.
Obtain pricing and quotes from vendors and subcontractors to ensure
competitive bids.
Review proposals with clients and make adjustments as needed.

Sales & Customer Service
Develop and maintain long-term relationships with homeowners,
builders, and property managers.
Present proposals clearly and professionally, helping clients make
informed decisions.

Follow up with past clients to encourage repeat business and referrals.

Team Coordination & Support

Work closely with the owner and field teams to ensure all project
details are communicated clearly and executed efficiently.
Assist with scheduling, ordering materials, and coordinating deliveries
when necessary.
Provide additional support across departments as needed — flexibility
is key in a growing small-business environment.

Qualifications

Proven experience in landscaping and/or irrigation (estimating, installations, or sales).
Ability to read and interpret construction and irrigation plans.
Strong math and organizational skills for accurate and efficient
estimating.
Excellent communication and customer-service skills.
Dependable, self-motivated, and able to manage multiple priorities effectively.
Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.

General Responsibilities:

Ensure proper installation of irrigation designs and layouts

Irrigation Crew Leader
At least two years irrigation experience

General Responsibilities:
Lead irrigation crew
Communicate effectively with Project Operations Manager
Maintain tools and PPE in safe and clean working condition
Ensure proper installation of irrigation designs and layouts
Ensure staff work safely and comply with company’s guidelines constantly

Project Crew Leader
General Responsibilities:
Communicate effectively with Project Operations Manager
Maintain tools and PPE in safe and clean working condition
Ensure proper installation of landscape designs and layouts
Ensure staff work safely and comply with company’s guidelines constantly

Project Crew Member
General Responsibilities:
Communicate effectively with Senior Crew Member and Crew Leader
Ensure trucks and equipment are in safe and clean working condition
Maintain tools and PPE in safe and clean working conditionPlease select a valid form

Maintenance Crew Leader
General Responsibilities:
Communicate effectively with Maintenance Operations Manager
Maintain tools and PPE in safe and clean working condition
Ensure proper installation of landscape designs and layouts
Ensure staff work safely and comply with company’s guidelines constantly

Maintenance Crew Member
General Responsibilities:
Communicate effectively with Senior Crew Member and Crew Leader
Ensure trucks and equipment are in safe and clean working condition
Maintain tools and PPE in safe and clean working condition
